Petroglyph Development Group (PDG) is the economic development arm of Snuneymuxw First Nation. PDG’s diversified portfolio spans forestry, gaming, hospitality, cannabis production and retail, tourism, transportation and logistics, business management, real estate and development, and convenience and fuel retail. Today, PDG is Canada’s largest Indigenous-owned hospitality and casino operator.
Grounded in Snuw’uyulth, the knowledge system passed down through generations, PDG weaves together Snuneymuxw knowledge and contemporary business to create sustainable economic opportunities. PDG supports Snuneymuxw self-determination and Nation-building by generating opportunities and resources that strengthen the Nation, benefit its members, and contribute to the wellbeing of the communities it serves and operates in.
Since 2014, PDG has experienced remarkable growth. What began as a single company with one employee has expanded into a portfolio of more than 19 companies in 2026, employing approximately 1,800 people. This progress honours the big work of Snuneymuxw Elders and Ancestors and helps restore enduring prosperity for the Snuneymuxw mulstimuxw.
