Building Business, Community and Opportunity – Warrior Plumbing

Curtis Thomas, elected Councillor for the Tsleil-Waututh Nation and founder and of Warrior Plumbing, continues to demonstrate the impact Indigenous entrepreneurship can have on business, community, and future generations.

Founded in 2010 as a one-person operation, Warrior Plumbing has grown into a team of more than 50 employees. The company is focused not only on growth, but on delivering quality work, creating meaningful career opportunities, and strengthening Indigenous participation in the skilled trades.

That commitment is especially evident in Warrior Plumbing’s work on Indigenous-led housing projects. The company is currently contributing to the Hwulm’ut Housing Society’s 50-unit affordable housing development on səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation) lands, helping create homes for families and community members. Recent updates from Warrior highlight the project as an opportunity to support housing, strengthen community and contribute to a lasting legacy for future generations.

Together, let’s congratulate a fellow alumnus and celebrate the continued growth and impact of Warrior Plumbing.
