Tyler James Goin is an emerging voice in contemporary ceramcis, creating sculptural works that bridge industrial precision with emotional depth. With nearly two decades of creative exploration across painting, music, and writing, Tyler brings a rare interdisciplinary approach to his practice. His work is further grounded by his experience as a Red Seal Millwright, where a deep understanding of materials and process informs every piece he creates.
Focusing on large-scale ceramics and forged metalwork, Tyler draws inspiration from the mountainous landscapes of his youth, shaping forms that feel both powerful and introspective. As the fifth recipient of the Judson Beaumont Emerging Artist designation, Tyler is gaining recognition for his innovative approach and is quickly establishing a strong presence within BC’s design and craft community.
